All our scooters and power chairs are available to purchase in-store, over the phone, or via email.
While many customers prefer to visit in-store to see and see the scooters in person, we are happy to assist with purchases remotely if needed.
Our team can provide expert advice to help you choose the right scooter.
Scooters and power chairs can be collected from our store at 585 Main Street, Palmerston North once purchased. We can also deliver to Palmerston North, Ashhurst and Feilding for free.
Scooters that require delivery to locations outside of our local area or via courier will incur an additional charge. Pricing will be
confirmed based on the delivery location.
Yes, all scooters and power chairs purchased in store are fully assembled and ready to use. Before you leave, our team will show you how everything works and answer any questions you may have.
If a scooter needs to be sent via courier, it will be partially assembled for shipping.
All scooters and power chairs come with a manufacturer’s warranty covering
key components such as the battery, motor and frame.
Warranty terms may vary depending on the model. Full details of the product warranty will be provided at the time of purchase.
Yes, we offer scooter lease agreements if you need a mobility scooter but aren't quite ready to purchase one. This can be a great way to enjoy the benefits of a scooter without the upfront cost.
Charging times vary depending on the model, but most scooters and power chairs take approximately 4 to 8 hours to fully charge.
Regular charging is important to help maintain battery health and performance. When you purchase your scooter or power chair, our team will explain the charging process and provide guidance on proper battery care.
In New Zealand, electric scooters are classed as low-powered
vehicles and have relatively simple rules:
- No driver’s licence, registration, or WOF is required for compliant scooters.
- You may ride on footpaths, shared paths and crossroads when necessary to reach connecting footpaths.
- Riders must give way to pedestrians and ride safely, especially on footpaths.
- Helmets are not legally required but are strongly recommended for safety.
In New Zealand, mobility scooters are legally considered "mobility devices" and can be driven on roads, but only when it is not practicable to drive on a footpath.
If you need to drive on the road, you must keep as far to the left as possible.
Unfortunately, not at this stage. However, we can recommend a local provider who may be able to assist you with servicing and repairs.
We are currently working on introducing payment plans. At this stage, we offer either layby full payment at the time of purchase.
